ITG Formula Ford 1600 Tapered Air Filter.

This filter is designed to be a nearly exact replacement for the old K&N 56-9290 filter used on many FF1600 cars.

The ITG Formula Ford Air Filter is designed for competition use, providing optimum air flow, engine protection and safety. Designed to specifically fit Formula Ford race cars with Weber twin choke carburettors. The tapered design allows it to fit Formula Fords including those with air scoops. Baseplates for Weber 32/36 DGAV, DGVA, DGV, DGMA and 38 DGAS, DGAR carburettors are sold separately. 

ITG "Megaflow" air filters use a three-stage foam for excellent airflow with great filtration. Because the filter assembly has foam all the way around and on the top (not just around the sides), airflow is not restricted by tight-fitting bodywork or air scoops. The inner lining is manufactured from self extinguishing filter foam providing a safety vital aspect designed to reduce damage to the filter should 'blowback' from the carburettor occur
