Breaking Down All The 300V Racing Engine Oil Options

Motul’s 300V was launched in 1971 and it was the world's first 100% synthetic lubricant ever produced, since then it's continued to lead the pack with new innovation and proven performance.
Motul 300V Engine Oil

Harnessing Motul’s ESTER Core technology, 300V provides on incredible on track performance; trusted by tuners and race teams from Le Mans through to MotoGP delivering the performance podiums demand.

The 300V comes in three ranges 300V Power, 300V Competition and 300V Le Mans; all fulfil modern engines with exhaust gas after-treatments such as particular filters, compatible with biofuels (especially Ethanol) and protect against LSPI (on downsized engines).

300V Power 5W-30 Engine Oil

300V POWER  Series features the lightest viscosity grades available from 0W-8 to 5W-30

Supplying maximum power, it can cope with engines subject to low oil dilution.

300V Competition 10W-40 Engine Oil

300V COMPETITION  Series features the mid viscosity grades available from 0W-40 to 15W-50.

The best compromise between power and reliability, coping with engines subject to mid oil fuel dilution.

300V Le Mans 20W-60 Engine Oil

300V LE MANS  Series features the highest viscosity grades available from 10W -60 to 20W-60.

Delivering maximum reliability & can cope with engines subject to high oil fuel dilution.

One of the most impressive on track performances is the Midori R32 GTR (RB26DETT) running on the 300V Le Mans 10W-60. The Midori had consistent power increase from 3.1% to 4.1% from over 4000 RPM.

These results exemplify Motul's 'living laboratory' philosophy that takes the engineering theory to the track and ensures premium results under all conditions, every time.
